Appication form
Eligibility
Age
All competitors must be at least 18 years old before the day of competition. Fans of any age may enter the convention and view as spectators.
Future competitions may include a league for minors.
Cuts
Half shaved and/or half long hair styles are not allowed. This is to be fair for competitors who grow their full head of hair long.
Bangs are allowed.
Locks
Dreadlocks and braids will not be allowed for competition day.
These hairstyles hinder the judges' ability to differentiate between natural and fake hair.
Gender
This is a competition that promotes the natural feminine beauty of women. To be eligible for the competition, the applicants must be female.
This is to ensure the prize money goes to the appropriate winners.
Attachments
No extensions or wigs will be permitted. The competition aims to celebrate natural growth, time, and effort spent to properly care for long hair.
Colored hair is allowed.
Styles
On competition day, the only acceptable hairstyles are naturally let down. It is to each competitor's advantage so it can reach full length.
This will allow judges to accurately measure each contestant's hair.
Sample photo + video submission
Front facing photo with blank background showing your face and hair. Can be full body or partial.
COMING SOON! The perfect video will include an introduction of yourself, hair measurements, showing natural roots, promoting yourself and Las Vegas Long Hair to your fans and asking for support. Video should be under 3 minutes. If there is spare time, you can talk about your long hair goals and inspirations.It should be edited with instagram dimensions.
Prizes
A grand total of $20,000 will be split among the winners.

25 points-PRESENTATION-(confidence, speech/individuality, posing, engagement, fashion)
25 points-HEALTHY LENGTH-(level where thickness drops off)
ROUND 2
25 points-MEASUREMENTS-(length, thickness, volume, scalp health, ends health)
25 points-ACHIEVEMENTS-(Hair community, social media, fitness, excellence, professionalism/sisterhood/showmanship)
